For the love of DS Glamour

I've got another blue for those who love blue as much as I do! I love OPI DS Glamour so much, I couldn't resist on using it for this design. A simple chevron french; blue on blue with a touch of glitter.

Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
Base Color: NYX Ink Heart
Tip Design: OPI DS Glamour & NYX Ink Nail Art in Crystal Glitter
Top Coat: OPI RapiDry TopCoat

Note: NYX Ink Heart is a creme finish but because I used OPI RapiDry when my mani wasn't completely dry yet, the brush picked up some of the holo glitters from DS Glamour making Ink Heart look like a glitter/shimmer polish which sorta gave it a nice effect on the overall mani.

OPI DS Glamour IP m39

I've been on a blue streak lately I hope you don't mind. Whenever I buy polishes, for some odd reason, I tend to buy blue one way or another. It's not like I think it looks great on me or anything; I think I buy them because blue is just a pretty color period. So I need to at lease use my untried polishes and make use of them. It would be sad to seem them collect dust. Here's a quick mani for you:

Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
Base Color: None

I'm back!...with a mani =)

Hi all! I'm back! (finally!) I've been soooo super busy it's not even funny. Hopefully now my life has slowed down a bit to get back into regular manicures and postings. I've been so busy, my nails haven't had a real manicure or pedicure since I last made a mani post! I won't make any promises but I'd like to make at least  one post a week and more if I'm lucky ;). And I apologize for being gone for so long without notice.

Without further ado, here is my mani: I'm not sure what to call it but it's a blue french with three stripes? =D

Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
French Tip: Milani- Cyberspace
Stripes: NYX Black & Silver Nail Art Polish

I couldn't really capture the holo because the sun wasn't out to play but close up on the last picture, I magnified it and viola! you can see the holographic glitters! =)

Enjoy!

Milani Cyberspace & Konad IP m63

If you haven't tried Milani's line of 3D holographic nail polishes, what are you waiting for? I only have two and I love them both! I stamped it for fun with konad's IP m63 using OPI Ogre-the-top Blue. These photos were all taken indoors.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there! This is for you!

As for me, I already have it all! My little bundle of joy who never seizes to amaze me! The only one who notices the different nail polish on my fingers and tells me "wow mommy, pretty" lol. My little one who is such a handful but so good when I'm doing my nails. I am truely blessed!

On another note, here are my nails today.
China Glaze-For Audrey
Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
Konad IP: s9
On the tip: Milani Nail Art in Art of Silver
Top Coat: Seche Vite

For Audrey was opaque at two coats and a beautiful cream color. It was a little too bright for my liking but otherwise a beautiful color especially now that summer is on its way. =) By the way, my cuticles love CND's Solar Oil.

Happy Mother's Day. Be safe and enjoy it with the people you love!

Hard Candy Haul (picture heavy)

I got really excited for Diana's Hard Candy Giveaway that I needed to go check out my local Wal-mart to see if we had the brand in store. Before I entered this giveaway, I never noticed that they carried nail polishes in that brand; but when i got to the store, omg! they were too cute to pass out on so I had to get me a few just to try.

Here's the swatches on my nails. The colors are true to the image in real life.

This was a lovely blue but on my nails, it seemed kind green like teal color. I tried to capture it in the picture but i kept giving me this blue. Otherwise a pretty color.

A pretty neutral color.

Extra photos I took. Click to enlarge.

All the colors were beautiful. I wish I bought it all but my budget didn't fit the price for all at the time so the rest will have to wait. I liked the creaminess of the formula but I wish it wasn't so runny. Don't get me wrong...even though they were runny, the cream colors applied very opaque and I was able to achieve complete coverage with two coats. As for the shimmer and glitter colors, its expected that it'll take more than just two coats to make them opaque. Overall, I love it and I'd buy them all! Perhaps I'll win the giveaway and not have to get the rest ^_^. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
